We must be Biblical – We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we must live our lives in obedience to it. This isn’t just not doing the things the Bible forbids (lying, adultery, murder, etc.) but also doing the things the Bible commands (doing all for the glory of God, loving our neighbor, forgiving others, etc.).
We must be Spiritual – Jesus tells us that God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Whether we are worshiping God or walking out our Christian experience, we don’t do it merely with human effort but through the power of the Holy Spirit. It takes God’s power and grace to be able to live out our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a work of the Holy Spirit for us to love God, bare good fruit, live a life pleasing to God, and bring transformation into our own lives and the life of our community.
We must be Missional – God makes everything with purpose even each local expression of His church. Individually and corporately we all have an assignment in our city and in our world. We must be about our Father’s business not hiding our gift (our equipping for purpose) but fully using what God has given us for His glory and the benefit of others. The Bible teaches that even the Lord Jesus Christ did not come to be served but to serve and give His life a ransom for many. Life (and church) makes sense when we are doing what we were created to do, giving our lives to something bigger and better than just personal comfort and personal advancement.
We are a church that believes in Jesus, a church that loves God and people. Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, a prophetic community, and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth.
